5 July 2012 – Dr. Norman Keevil Canadian Pacific rail siding near Elkford BC

Minister Blair Lekstrom and MLA Bill Bennett toured the Teck Fording River metallurgical coal mine followed by an official commissioning of the Canadian Pacific rail siding in honour of the founder of Teck, Dr. Norman Keevil.
Minister Lekstrom and MLA Bennett were guests of Canadian Pacific for the train journey from Elkford to Sparwood.
